Back to engineering jobs after MBA? [#permalink] New post 10 Apr 2013, 01:24
Hi all,

I am doing an MBA, the program will finish in the next few months. Before doing my MBA, I was a software engineer.
However, now I realized that I don't really want to do business and I want to look for engineering jobs after my MBA.

My question is: How can I persuade the recruiters that I really want to go back to engineering jobs? Because they may think that I am not serious and just want to work temporarily while looking for another job in business. What should I do with my CV?

Thank you very much.

Why do you want to go back to engineering?

Honestly, it shouldnt be too hard. There's always a market for an engineer with experience. If they ask why you want to go back into engineering tell them you changed your mind once you started school.
