Hi guys,
I have some questions about the discrepancy found on my academic record.
Now, I am getting more and more stress as I sent an email to the admission committee about this issue but no reply found.
I got an email from Re Vera Services indicating that they found the discrepancy on my degree verification.
Well, I put my degree type on the application as BBA, however, my real degree is actually in Bachelor of Accountancy.
In the application system, it required me to fill up the "degree type" field by using the abbreviation of the degree I studied.
For me, I had no idea what the abbreviation of my degree actually was as we do not use that type of abbreviation here in my country.
So, I tried to google and eventually found a link which listed many degree abbreviations.
https://www.infoplease.com/ipa/A0112655.html I tried to match up my degree program with those on the list.
I thought that B.B.A. could best match up with my degree type, so I decided to put B.B.A. in that field.
However, in my resume, I did state that I was graduated from "Bachelor of Accountancy".
I know that this is a very silly mistake, but I really have no intention to do so.
I don't really wanna lose my chance of getting in to my dream school just because of this stupid mistake.
Does this type of errors will be so serious that it will refrain me from matriculation into my MBA school?
What further action should I take in order to solve this discrepancy?
Thank you very much everyone for your advices.
