Can you give me some additional information regarding the background checks that are completed on accepted applicants? When they review employment history, is that only post-college full time employment or even the jobs that you held in undergrad?

I'm not sure, but they can request confirmation on the part-time jobs, especially if your full-time experience is limited.

Good luck!

Hi Linda,

Do you think schools will request information from the current employer. What if the applicant does not want the current employer to know about his/her intentions to enroll into an MBA program?

The background check usually is only undertaken after you are accepted. By then it won't matter.

Good luck! :)
