barrons [#permalink] New post 26 Aug 2005, 22:05
My prep for my GMAT has included a variety of books, Kaplan, Kaplan800, princeton, OG 10th of course and now im onto barrons. I started with sentence correction diagnostic test and found it totally different, strange almost. and the answer explanations are woeful.

has anyone found ANY benefits from barrons? i don't want to waste any time on it unless its worth the effort.

From what I've heard, Barron's material in not that great. Try to stay with OG, Kaplan and PR.

I have had some experience with Barron and from my experience, I would throw Barron to the trash right away. It is an absolute waste of time. Barron includes out of scope graph and charts questions for its math section and sub par SC question. I have posted many Barron SC questions in the past and have come to the conclusion that it ain't worth anybody's time.

Best Regards,

yes, I tried to get the Barrons material but have had some bad response that it's not worth spending time with the Barrons material.
