Here use of sub ordinate conjunction ( or a dependent marker) "because" is tested.
You can use dependent marker to meaningfully convey throughts in form as follows
Dependent marker + dependent clause , Independent clause
in other words, in this question, look for answer choice that fits this template.
As you can see only choice A fits the mold
Choices B & C have errors in independent clause
D & E has erroneous construction along with wrong usage of so many.

'component of' vs 'component in'.
The former, 'component of' should be the correct one. 'Component' already suggests a part of, so 'in' is redundant. So (B) and (C) are out.
(D) is out. 'are' is the wrong verb for 'all kinds of paper'
Between (A) and (E), I'll take (A). (E) uses 'have tried to recycle', suggesting that they have not started recycling, but rather, they're still trying to start recycling.
(A) uses 'have tried recycling' which means they have tried out recycling, and are still doing so today.
A it is.

B has tense problem.
C and E have subject-verb agreement
D is awakward.

"A"......paper of all kinds is "singular", as it indicates a gp, also "component of" is right idiom
|

Can someone explain why 'have tried' is required in A? I am of the opinion that simple 'tried' is sufficient.
