'paper of all kinds' is correct, not 'all kinds of paper'
'paper' is singular

- Paper is singular so 'is' is required.
- 'have tried recycling' looks fine and makes sentence concise.

Incorrect.
- 'tried to recycle' is not || with 'disposal is reduced'.
