I find heavy and awkward other constructions, such as "being...and born" in A.

C is best. The opening modifying phrase properly modifies the Proper Noun (the name of the author) and 'she' could only modify the author.

Please do underline the sentence. I suppose it's not too much to ask of you to highlight the underlined portion of the sentence, and click on the underline icon. :-D

THEIR SOME PROBLEM WITH THE POST,,,,,THT UNDERLINING IN NOT SHOWN IN FINAL POST..........

BUT IM SURE AN MBA ASPIRENT HAS THIS MUCH OF SENSE TO JUDGE THE UNDERLINE PORTION FROM THE ANSWER OPTIONS,,,,,,,GUESS IT DOES'NT LEAVE ANY1 GUESSING,,,,,,,
