Hi, I'm in a very small organization where I am not comfortable to ask for a recommendation from anyone in my organization. Is this an instance where I have no choice, but to ask one of them? My concern is that they'll know my intentions of going to business school and will be treated differently at work. For more background see below my work experience by the time I apply in the Fall:

Two years in investment banking at a bulge bracket -- should I ask at least one of them?
Three years in a non-profit

I appreciate your response and thank you for your help!

Not having a recommendation from the current employer will fast draw the conclusion you're unhappy or don't perform well.

Even if it's a hard bridge to cross speaking about plans and involving others is the better way to go! It's part of a development and also smaller companies will repsect this. Be sure to tell them you like to be there and keep it up until you leave, but its also their advantage to be able to plan this.

That is really tough... I would reach out to the ad com of your current schools and ask what they would accept. I think that FT programs are sensitive to this and will respond well. PT/EMBA not so much though.
