Has anyone used the GMAT prep app from benchprep.com? It is normally ridiculously expensive ($150 for their full prep app or $100 for just math), but is on sale today for 85% off (sales must not be great). I can't really find any reviews for it online, and it isn't mentioned here on the forums. Anyone know anything about it?
Well the reason I thought about it was that its centered around an iphone app, which would be handy. The other iphone options aren't that great, no offense to the gmatclub app, although I have found using Anki for flashcards to be very helpful.
I don't have it myself as I have an android phone, but have tried it out via a friend's iphone. It is good, and probably the best option out there, I didn't mean to disparage it and apologize if I offended anyone. Was hoping to find a similar app for Android so I can study and review on the go, I should have been more clear. Unfortunately it does not seem like there are very many good options for Android owners. Going to have to stick with Anki, which has been very helpful so far and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to make flashcards. The app is free on Android, although it unfortunately costs $25 on the iphone.
Definitely not going with Benchprep, thanks for the advice.
And I do realize I wrote iPhone above, I'm an idiot. I had one for quite a while until I switched to an Android phone and I still haven't gotten used to it.
It's bad! Don't even waste your money on using their courses. Sometimes the provided example doesn't make sense. Some diagrams were purred out (seems like it was copied from another book). The company doesn't use proper math symbol. For example, they would write x2 for x to the second power, 1/2 for one over two.
