Can anybody suggest some good books for improving verbal? My score is good but I tend to be slow. Any suggestions to improve speed?

If you have exhausted most of the GMAT material, try the LSAT CR and RC. If your weakness is SC, look for the 1000 SC file floatign around here somewhere. Just do a search.

Maybe a speed-reading course?

I'm serious - there are lots of courses and techniques for reading more quickly and still understanding and retaining what you read. If timing is your biggest issue on this section, might that be a help?

(I have the opposite problem; I read quickly but I make a lot of stupid mistakes. Still, at least I don't worry about time on the verbal section. Math is another story...)

Get Verbal Workout - great book. What materials are you already using? How are you specifically in RC, CR and SC?
