I assume the best day is the day people are least likely to take the GMAT...

any thoughts or experiences???

dude dont even worry about it. they give you earplugs. everyone taking a test is going to be totally in the zone like you. you will be so focused that you wont notice.

if you live in a metropolitan area, chances are there are always going to be other GMAT takers. you'll have a good idea by checking seat availabilty online... if seats are mostly booked up 5-6 weeks out, then you are probably going to be in a room with 3-4 other GMATTERS. Plus PVue also tests for like a million other things like nursing exams and crap like that.. so unless your testing center has single rooms or you are having a lucky day, you are going to be taking the test with other people.

Didn't book it yet, just planned on taking it soon. at the end of this month is when i plan to take it. I was waiting for test results and when I can finally get outta this stupid sling!, I wanna be 100%

Forget about how many other people will be taking GMAT with you. Concentrate on what day is the best for you. If you are a working professional, then Monday will be the best since you have had sufficient rest on the weekend. I like Mondays for such tests.
