Can anyone comment on which book is better in terms of practice questions? 1) Princeton 1012 GMAT Practice Questions 2) Kaplan GMAT Advanced I plan to use one of these after I have exhausted the OG guides.

Your argument implies 1,500 questions from the OG Guides will not be enough... I'd say if you solve 2K questions - another thousands will not add much value. If it is not working out by then, time to dig deeper.

The OG books allow me to practice with 600-level, and a few 700-level, questions. I would like to work with more 700-level questions just in case. GMATClub's Math Challenges, as well as Jeff Sackmann's Extreme Challenge, are purported to offer such an opportunity, but I thought the books mentioned in the previous post might have something similiar to offer.

Hi bb. The book seems to be interesting. However the site that i came across the winning prep material is: http://www.winningprep.com/index.html They seem to have a lot of books in publication though no one seems to be talking about them. Was just wondering if you've come across it before. Looking forward to your review. Cheers. Ps. You really do a fantastic job of running this site. I am finding the resources to be extremely useful, the members very friendly and the discussions highly informative. Im really glad I found it!

Question about the MGMAT quant series and the quant OG. The MGMAT references a bunch of problems in the quant OG (as well as OG/12) but they appear to be for a first edition perhaps? The numbers in MGMAT don't match up to the numbers in my slim, green quant OG. Is there some sort of "map" between quant OG ed 1 and ed 2? Or should I just snag a used copy of ed 1 for $10 or so? Thanks

Hi, I want(need) to take GMAT by mid March and it already is Mid November. I am fairly strong in Math but verbal needs some work (English is not my first language). Moreover, I am aiming for 700+ with good scores in both verbal and quant. After going through various posts on this site, I have come up with the following plan (and questions): 1. Kaplan verbal foundations- But it’s been said that The only reason you may need the Verbal Foundation book is if your grammar is very weak. If you are not international, don't get it. If you are, do the MGMAT SC first, and then see your results - you may need to. Does MGMAT SC cover the grammar points covered in Kaplan Verbal foundations? 2. Kaplan premier ...not sure if this is needed if I am doing step 3 to11. 3. MGMAT SC…which OG is required for this? OG verbal or OG full? 4. Powerscore LSAT RC…does it cover basics and other concepts also or is it too off the mark? 5. Powerscore CR…maybe MGMAT CR instead as OG will also get covered along with it and I have less time but powerscore has more examples and is better structured according to one of the posts. 6. Need one excellent all in one math book. After going through that, I can figure out if I need work in some specific area. Kaplan math workbook+ MGMAT number properties have been suggested but do they cover P&C, probability adequately? 7. og quant, og verbal…are these needed if I am going through og complete? If time is less, should I go through these two or OG complete? 8. og complete Please suggest the right picks out of/apart from those mentioned and point out any flaws in the plan. Thanks

MGMAT SC does have some grammar but not to the detail that Kaplan Verbal Foundations has. Get the Kaplan Verbal Foundations if you are doubting. I would err on the safe side. Not that much $$$ 2. What is steps 3 to 11? 3. You do want to have OG Verbal and OG 124. Overkill for now 5. Sure 6. MGMAT Word Translations does 7. Not really 8. Cool - save it for last/ MGMAT Guides practice.

sorry man, i meant points 3 to 8 when i said steps 3-11. So, is Kaplan Premier or any other full book required if I am going through points 3-8? Also, do Kaplan Math workbook+ MGMAT number properties+ MGMAT word translations make a complete math set (topic coverage)? Thanks

Kaplan book will come with 6 tests - may be worth it, but don't have to get it. You have enough materials. 2. Yes.
