I am just starting to study for the GMAT, and I was wondering if someone could tell me what the best books to buy are (also, money is not a factor). Thank you for your advice.

Hi Noctus,

there are many (many, many, many) links around here about this topic.

You should spend 2 or 3 minutes looking for them before asking anything

Regards

Hi Noctus,

Please review the book sticky:

The books you buy will depend on where you need to improve. Have you taken a diagnostic test to assess your needs? The practice test thread can provide many resources on that front:

I highly recommend the Manhattan GMAT series along with the Official Guide for GMAT Review.

I would recommend to go through the links provided by Mohater

they are different publications for different sections and mostly depends on your present diagnostic score.

I'm currently trying to decide between Veritas, MGMAT, and a few other courses. I went to BN today and checked out the MGMAT books they had in stock.. the quality and thoroughness of the course is quite impressive. I'm going to bite the bullet and order a course within the next week or so.

With that said, I think that you'd be well served going to a local bookstore and thumbing through the different books. The MGMAT books made a lot of sense to me, but it may not be the same way for you. Money might not be an issue, but you might as well spend it wisely!
