Best GRE prep class? [#permalink] New post 02 Nov 2011, 14:11
Hi friends,

I am new to this great board, I hope everyone is doing great! I did the GMAT many years ago and got an average score, mainly due to a lower Quant/Math score. I completed my MBA from a good program and have been working for a few years.

I am now considering going for a second Master's program in a totally different field, and would like to take the GRE to strengthen my application.

I am currently located in HOUSTON, TX (USA) and am a working professional during the day in the work week. Thus, I am looking for an EXCELLENT, class room setting, preferably small group, GRE class that I can take over 6-8 weeks on the weekends.

Princeton Review seems to have a small group class - 4 students per class, and I am seriously considering that. I was wondering which 'company' you would recommend, e.g. Princeton Review, Kaplan, Manhattan Review, others....to meet my needs.

I am flexible with my budget.

Thanks so much,
hulahoop

Hi hulahoop, Welcome to GMATClub.

I've personally not tried any of the classes, but if Manhattan Prep's GRE guides are anything to go by, then it's courses should be excellent - they're priced higher than most though. Most of the test prep companies offer trial classes, so it might be worth trying them out before settling on the course.

I think one can score well in GRE even without preparatory classes.
