Does anyone know what the highest ranked schools are that cover case studies? I know Harvard is up there obviously, but I'm thinking in the top 15? Thanks!

The method of teaching at both Harvard and Darden is Case study based.

which imo is the best way to learn, because it will give u the ability to "think on u r feet"

I agree. It seems like Darden and Harvard are where it's at. Any other schools?

All schools use Case studies for a lot of courses. Many balance cases with lectures and experiential learning...schools do it to different degrees. Some rely more on lectures, some more on cases, some are very balanced. Personally I think experiential learning is the best method followed by case and lastly lecture...but there are classes that are best presented in lecture format.

The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond.

Agree with Darden.

Just a thought though, I used to think that business cases were the best way to learn and I can tell you that I was happy to have a mix of cases/lectures/games theory-experience. I've realized that for each business case you need from 2 to 4 hours of individual work at least ! Be prepared to spend 80% of the time preparing it and 20% talking about it

Yep, HBS and Darden are logical choices. If you are interested in Canada, check out Ivey.

I know UNC isn't top 15, but they really tout their Case Study based curriculum.

Isn't HBS the best for Case studies? They came up with this and most of the cases originate from HBS

I think the schools that produce the most case studies are; HBS by far is #1 and some of them are legends that almost all schools use. Then I forget the order but Ivey, Darden, and Kellogg. I know Kellogg is doing a big push to create more and I was surprised to see numerous Ivey case studies along the way in some classes (they are very good too). Darden is an all case study school so it makes sense the produce a lot too.

I love kellogg cases since they are free and free is always good.
