I am confused about the school rankings for MBA programs in some publications - Specifically the MBA ranking system of Business Week, US News and World Report, Financial Times, & Forbes.
Which of these is the most accurate resource for information?
MBABound16,
The Forbes ranking is different from the other three you mentioned because it's evaluating ROI, i.e., which schools give you the best bang for your buck. If the bottom-line dollar impact of your MBA is the key consideration for you, then Forbes' ranking does a better job than the other three. Rather than sort through the methodological differences between BW's, FT's, and USNews's rankings, I will just recommend a fourth: the Wall Street Journal's. I prefer it because it's based heavily on the input of recruiters--the people who'll eventually offer you a job.
MBAPodcaster recently had a show about the different rankings.
Good luck,
