Hi,
I think your approach to the MBA application should be altered a little.
First, you should think about what is it you want to do post MBA (or does what you want to do a few years later require an MBA?).
Second, what are the skills/ tools/ knowledge you would require in order to do what you want to?
Third, where do you see yourself lacking - what skills/ knowledge do you need to build upon through an MBA?
Fourth, Which specializations will help you do that? What other features of an MBA program, like an internship/ project/ Professional club/ career services will aid you?
Nobody else can tell you at this level, about which specialization you should do.
Your guiding factor can be the fact that you would want to do develop your future career in a direction where you get to use your current work experience. So if you think you want to move over to finance , then build a story around your current exposure to the finance function in your organzation and how that will be relevant in your future role. Identify this role for yourself.
Certain finance jobs are highly desirable, but need similar prior work experience - IB happens to be one among them, and making a transition is very difficult for most. For this reason, I would suggest you to gain more information about what will be more relevant to you and whether that role requires an MBA.
If you want to remain in IT - you can get into product or project management - and an MBA will make you ready for it. You can get into IT consulting - management consulting companies have a technology vertical or there are specialized tech consulting companies like Accenture and IBM.
So, use your time now to explore your options.
