I was hoping to get a little advice on bumping my quant score. I took the GMAT earlier this week and got a Q40 V44 (680). I was happy with the verbal but thought I defnitely underperformed on the quant, though admittedly wasn't as prepared as I could have been.
I'm planning on re-taking in 5 weeks, and want to make sure this area is much more solid. I was wondering what people recommend for securing a c.45Q score? I've read a lot of posts that the challenges are good to get from 45 to 49, so maybe this isn't the best place to pick up.
For practice so far I've gone through the OG11
, looked at part of Kaplan 800
(but didn't find it very helpful), and went through EZ Advanced Workbook (though messed up enough questions that I wasn't really asked things at this level during the test).
I think I generally have a hard time with DS and the more abstract number properties questions.
