I have been reading few ways but cant decide really what suits me.
either reading the whole passage while writing notes or use analytic reading which means read the first paragraph, browse the rest, and read the last one as well.
What is the most common way to approach these type of questions?
I dont want to waste time and re-read the passage looking for more info (ofcourse if i have to then ill do so).
thanks

Hey Roygush!
Most people have trouble deciding the strategy which works best for Reading comprehension!
Some prefer reading it thoroughly while others prefer skimming.
I think you should adopt the approach you feel the most comfortable with and at the same time maintain a fair accuracy!
I got a huge help from following this.

Hope it helps you out!

You should be doing a combination of both. Understanding that first paragraph puts in a position to understand the landscape of what the topic at hand is, and then towards end of first paragraph into the second - you should start to get a sense as to the author's intentions in writing the passage. Connecting the ideas and opinions from paragraph to paragraph is key - and the important point is to focus on how the transitive phrases (however, but, in addition, thus, alas) help pivot the direction of the passage.
