better verbal than quant? how much is verbal worth? [#permalink]
12 Sep 2003, 13:58
hi,
i'm taking the test tomorrow (and yes i'm panicking a bit, i shouldn't really be thinking about scores right now) but i'm wondering if anybody has a better score in verbal than in quant - or even similar scores. and if so, how low can the 2 scores be to still get a 700?
how much is the verbal worth? less than the quant? about the same?
thanks!

tourjours,
If you're reading this, get to bed and stop worrying!
no, but seriously . . . i feel that my Verbal carries the day for me.
I think that's a good thing, cuz most people are stronger in quant.
I have found that my verbal percentile is higher even when i get more wrong in verbal.
a Q46 and a V42 should get you a 700
you can get about 5 wrong in each (of those that count)
hope that helps
and best of luck
