I really want to thank you guys for the amazing book and great help that you provide on these boards. Due in big part to them, I was accepted into my dream MBA program.

Up until I got your book, MIT had been the only place I had ever wanted to go. But after reading the book, I found that I was very interested in the name, but hadn't focused enough on the teaching style, environment, etc., that makes the whole b-school experience. With that in mind, I took your advice on the "sniper" approach and researched to death where the perfect place was for me. It turns out Duke is that place.

After I figured that out, I zoned in, taking all of your advice from points to emphasize in my essays to advising my recommenders. I still can't believe that I got accepted, but I'm definitely not arguing!

I imagine you guys don't get too tired of hearing about the success stories that you help make!! :)

Thanks a million

(Now back to figuring out how I'm going to pay for all this!)

Congrats on your acceptance to Fuqua! You'll have a brilliant time there -- in fact I wish I was there now, given the fact that it's snowing here as I look out the window.

At any rate, you're absolutely right, we never get tired of hearing the success stories. To think we might have played a small role is exciting.

Thanks for your kind words.
