Bob travelled 75% of the way from city A to city B by driving for T hours at an average speed of V mph. He then drove at an average speed of S for the remainder of the trip. Which of the following expressions gives Bob's average speed for the entire journey from A to B?

(A) 4VT / [(T+S)/3]
(B) VT / 3S
(C) 0.75V + 0.25S
(D) 4VS / [3(S+V)]
(E) 4VS / (3S+V)

= VT 4/3 /(T + 1/3 VT/S) = 4 VS /(3S +V), E.
