How about THE FOUNTAINHEAD and ATLAS SHRUGGED. These are books by Ann Rynd. I read these books and they changed my life.

"The Smartest Guys in The Room" - The Enron Story

"Maximum City" By Sukhetu Mehta - About the economics, politcal issues, underworld and society of Bombay

"Adventure Capitalist" by Jim Rogers - an economic and tourist snapshot of countries all over the globe.

"Ugly Americans" by Ben Mezrich - about expat traders in the far east. - kind of like a more Hollywood version of liar's Poker.
