Hello there :P

I am currently placing an order to buy books on MBA admissions and found the following books:

- MBA Admissions Strategy: From Profile Building to Essay Writing
- How to Get Into the Top MBA Programs
- Your MBA Game Plan: Proven Strategies for Getting Into the Top Business Schools
- ABC of Getting the MBA Admissions Edge
- 88 Great MBA Application Tips and Strategies to Get You into a Top Business School
- Applying to a Top MBA Program: From Decision to Admission-Interviews with Successful Applicants
- Game Plan for Getting into Business School
- 65 Successful Harvard Business School Application Essays
- Essays That Will Get You into Business School
- Marketing Yourself to the Top Business Schools
- Great Application Essays for Business School
- Graduate Admissions Essays: What Works, What Doesn't, and Why
- Accepted! 50 Successful Business School Admission Essays
- The Consultant's Guide to MBA Admission (ebook)

I have heard good reviews of "How to Get into the Top MBA Programs" and I am wondering if another one is necessary.
Does anybody know anything about the others?

I read:

Your MBA Game Plan: Proven Strategies for Getting Into the Top Business Schools

I found it to be pretty concise with a bunch of useful advice and good analysis. They've also got a pretty good summary for top 30 schools and suggestions on what points to emphasize when applying there.
It's the sort of a book you can read in a day or two to refine your 1st draft of essays.

I've bought 5 so far, I figure it is better to have them and not read it than realize I need them during crunch time.

I think 'Great Application Essays for Busines School' by Paul Podine of Accepted.com is concise and to the point

It can be picked from amazon for just over 10$....
