Take a very good look at the employment reports, and also poets and quants break down of Stern versus Columbia. Long story short is that Columbia, Booth and Kellogg are WAY better when it comes to the ultra elite firms (MBB's and top investment banks). Unless there's differences in scholarships, your choice really should be between Booth and Kellogg. Can't go wrong with either school, but in general Kellogg is stronger for consulting and Booth for finance, but both place great every where. They both have national recruiting, so it doesn't really matter too much where you want to work. Stern is more regional, and honestly I see more Kellogg than Stern people anyways in top jobs, despite a lot less Kellogg people wanting to work in NYC than sternies.
I also went to Stern undergrad and wasn't a huge fan.
