Have been accepted to both Boston College and Babson College MBA programs. Which to choose. Different publications post different rankings for each. Which do you think is the better MBA school overall and specifically for an MBA in management. TY.

MBABound16,

I would choose Babson both overall and for management. Babson is ranked by BusWeek; BC is not, meaning Babson has some national visibility that BC does not have. More importantly, more of Babson's grads go into management (17 vs. BC's 7%). If you look at both schools' top employers, BC's has a finance slant that Babson does not seem to have. Also, 92% of BC's grads stay put in Beantown. "Only" 67% of Babson's are in New England so if you want to leave Mass. sometime down the road Babson gives more name recognition.

Good luck!

I would have to agree. Babson is a slightly better program based on ratings as well as word of mouth. The name recognition is definetely there over Boston College in my opinion.
