I'm not sure if this is the place to mention it, but I was accepted into the BU Evening program. I start in January and am very much looking forward to it.

I had my in person interview in Mumbai on 29th Nov.
It lasted for around half hr. The usual questions - Why MBA, Why BU, leadership roles and challenges. I felt I could have done better on few questions.
The interview was conducted by Liz Wagoner. Apparently although I applied for MS-MBA course, it didn't turn up that way in her records. Midway while I was answering the questions, she realized this and told me that she will update it in her list.
There are a lot of interviews in India at least but gmatclub forum does not reflect that in anyway. In the end she told me that results will be out by Dec 16th and they will inform by an email.

I have read someone getting an admit on another forum.
Any admits here for anyone?

I received an email mentioning the admit as well as the maximum Dean's scholarship possible.
Guys,
Now I need suggestions to help me decide between WUSTL Olin's full ride v/s 80% scholarship at BU. I am an International with significant experience. I hope some of you already have done a fair bit of research.

Hi MBAitiss, Sorry to read tht.. Good luck for other schools
To everyone in this thread: I too am applying to Boston, but my profile isn't really great by usual standards- my GMAT is 660 (49Q, 31V) and GPA is 3.4. TOEFL is 117, am a mechanical engineer, Work Exp- managerial- Automotive major, 2.5 years... do u sense an accept in any way? I have worked in 2-3 profiles and have worked from Sales, SCM to Business dev (present). Some insight from ur experience on application essays would be very welcome.
Thanks.

One can never really say how good or bad the chances are based on the basic profile. However, a good way to assess whether it's realistic to app is to check how you figure with respect to the school's average & median 80% GMAT score & Work Ex. Here's the stats for BU:
Average GMAT: 683
Median 80% GMAT Range: 620-740
Average Work Ex: 4.9 yrs
Median 80% Work Ex. Range: 2.5-7.5 yrs
Your GMAT & Work Exp, are below the average, but within the 80% range. So, while you've got your work cut out, you still have a reasonable chance of getting in.
