My interviewer at UNC just called to give me the news that I got into the MBA program there.

I already got an acceptance from BU with a $70,000 scholarship ($35,000 /yr)

Now I'm in quite a dilemma on which program to choose.

I am basically looking at pursuing an MBA specialising in Marketing & a bit of entrepreneurship.

Would love to hear your point of view and get some more information it would make it easier to make a decision.

My basic rule is that if you have ambitions to be an entrepreneur, then you should follow the money. if you are saddled with debt, then making the move to self employment and investment is very difficult, if not impossible. Also, the difference between UNC and BU is not that great -- the students at both schools are highly motivated, international and committed to their future. You will have a wonderful experience at whichever school you attend.

Thanks Kimberly. i appreciate the insight. I do have entrepreneurial goals but only in the long-term. Having said that a lot of people have been saying that there is a vast difference in the schools because of the difference in ranking but from what I have seen the courses don't seem to be that far apart.

BU has a great program too I definitely think that it supports my goals and that is one of the reasons I applied to the school. I will definitely have to weigh my decision carefully and hope I make the choice that is best for me.
