Firstly let me introduce myself;

I am an engineer,with 1 year marketing exprience,and nonnative speaker. Working in retail business,I was in usa for 1 year. When i said i am an engineer to customers,heard from them so why i am working in retail. Then i revealed that i am more then what i was doing. I was in usa for fun however it helps me to open my eyes. I came back to my home in turkey on march with refusing an 2 year contract in my hand,offering me to be region manager in the same job.

Anyway i took risk and havent regreted. I started my gmat journey on march with KAPLAN LIVE 2010,which was helping me to understand what is gmat,KAPLAN VERBAL, OG12,and kaplan online system,respectively. After Finished my study last week of june,i got kaplan cat exams,which the average of them is 640,convinced me to get real exam soon. Thanks to "whiplash" i decided to get gmatprep right before to pay for real exam. I blowed it up guyz. From the first gmatprep 1 attempt i got 560, i Couldnt beleive it and retook again,600,the result was disappointing again.

Thanks to gmatclub moderators that they warned me about kaplan differences with official, i figured out that i am not ready. I started everything over.To stoped working paper based books,to focus my incorrect answers and to put so much afford on OFFICIAL GUIDE were my first step. Thanks to Nazar,he scheduled my routine, starting between 2th of july and 14th of sep,which is date of real exam.

I have finished official guide 10th,11th,12th and 2nd review of verbal and quantative,respectively. In addition,error logs of all were compelling for me as well. It was so exhausting however perseverence is the only thing keep me stand. I got 2 days off and tried to make my mind up.

Here we are. Tomorrow is the first day of my 7 cat exams period. Gmatprep 1 is gonna be my first prey.

I will upload everything till to next morning after the exam with result and feelings.

I dont like excuses but while i was doing the exam,construction guyz were doing rock'n roll with their tools for a while and my door rings 5 time.

Distracted a lot actually.

I checked my answers on verbal;

CR is almost full done. Just 2 incorrect answer.

SC is awful i have never do it bad like that anyway,8 incorrect answer

RC which is worst,10 incorrect answer

Cant beleive it seriously just cant beleive it. i am not that bad for sure my average was 640 and look at that i got 580 from my first cat. Anyway any comment? i will retake it tomorrow morning.

8 out of 37 is incorrect however 6 of them is really so easy and has done wrong cuz of careless. Anyway satisfied with quant score

Verbal ;

6 SC (3 of them is just beacuse of careless)
3 CR (1 of them is just beacuse of careless)
6 RC

Rc is my weak area so i dont know i need luck for that.

But i figure out today if i can do less incorrect on SC i will get almost 700. My aim is surpassing V30 on the real exam

i guess Q49 or Q50 with any score greater then V30 gives me 700+ what you think guyz?

by the way for 2 cat exam i realy didnt have problem with time

6 incorrect answer which 3 of them is really so silly like i found 16 but forget to divide 2:( it could be just 3 wrong answer if i paid just little bit more attention on it. Anyway satisfied with it ofcourse.

4 of SC ( one is just beacuse of careless and 1 is,i guess half of the gmatclub users made it wrong,really hard and confusing)

So the score,suprisingly,is 680.

I have a guestion guyz. I dont understand that how i cant reach 700+ with Q50 V31

I always trace greater score than v31,with at least q49,will provide a score over 700 on real exam. So it has blowed my plans right now.

so my question is;

whether i would do 2 less wrong in SC, what would my score have been?

or at least how much Verbal score i need with at least Q49 to reach 700's?


How i feel?

I feel relax and little bit stress.Triggered some feelings that maybe i cant reach 700+,this result scared me as much as the first day of mu brutal period.

The worst thing for me is tripping up in my plans. Now i am asking myself Do you really beleive that you can reach 700+?

Tomorrow my prey will be the Gmatprep 2 first attempt and scared from it.

Wow, you're taking a LOT of practice tests

Congratulations, you are making progress, you are a quant wizard.
Maybe you can check whether you made the mistakes in the first questions. The GMAT is adaptable, so is you made more mistakes at the beginning now, the level of the questions was lower and that skewed the score down. You can see many people with different section scores but the same total score.
