Bschool Journal - Class of 2011? [#permalink]
11 Jan 2009, 12:36
Congrats to everyone with R1 admit. Since many of us have an admit in our bag and we are in the process of deciding where we want to attend in the fall, I want to propose a new thread in the forum. (in Bschool Life thread perhaps?) BW has features called MBA Journals ( http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/mbajournal/) Basically, it's a journal each student keeps throughout their bschool journey. Many of us already have a separate bschool blog. (i.e. - sonibubu has a blogger page where he published his bschool application process..) Perhaps we can all start a thread in here (by school or individual) where we continuously publish our own bschool journal in order to give more insight into bschool life starting this fall? 1) It will allow many of us to keep tabs on each other - on our progress, job/internship search, bschool life etc etc 2) It will provide more info to potential applicants. 3) This is an exciting time for all of us. I think if we keep journals, we can always come back later and reminisce our bschool journey. Any thoughts? P.S. - I plan on doing one for Yale SOM....

They should start paying you.

As long as you can handle the good hearted ribbing you will get from classmates. Tons of people know BW and will see it. Chances are you will get teased occasionally.

However, I do not do profile reviews, don't offer predictions on chances and am far to busy to review essays, so save the energy of writing me a PM seeking help for these. If I don't respond to a PM that is not one of the previously mentioned trash can destined messages, please don't take it personally I get so many messages I have a hard to responding to most. The more interesting, compelling, or humorous you message the more likely I am to respond. Find out what's new at GMAT Club - latest features and updates

ninkorn will be for Yale as rhyme is for Booth, river is for Kellogg, and I'm for Haas. Eventually we'll have at least one super gung-ho person on GC for each school.
