E...I remember this from Kaplan CAT...dont know if I recall the answer correctly...

E will explain if correct..

This is a cause and effect question.

Only E stands, rest all seems to modify something but are unable to..

Anyway any explanations, "if only because...." doesn't sound very well to me.
