Business Schools in Israel [#permalink] New post 25 Sep 2007, 19:56
Hi all, I am completing my gmat journey soon and want to get an idea about what business schools in Israel are like. I am a native English speaker, and have taken about 6 years of Hebrew during elementary school, plus 15 years of prayer. Basically I can read, w/ or w/o vowels, but currently have a very poor level of understanding. I am working on my conversational Hebrew right now. And I plan on taking an extensive Ulpan program when I arrive in Israel.

Here are my choices, if anyone can elaborate on any of them that would be awesome, I am looking for advice.

Bar Ilan
Tel Aviv U
Hebrew U
Technion
IDC Herzliya
Ben Gurion U
U of Haifa

I am mostly interested in working in either Renewable energy, and other basic resources, biotechnology, and other healthcare, the non-profit sector, or the public sector in the gov't.

I know there are some Israelis out there, any advice is greatly appreciated!

The Tel Aviv University should be the best one. I have seen it mentioned in exchange programs of some top schools of the world. Also, a quick search shows that Kellogg, Wharton and INSEAD have some sort of associations with TAU.

ps. I am from India, BTW. No direct experience with Israel. So take this info with a grain of salt.

I believe that Hebrew University is a pretty good college also. I don't have specifics on their MBA, but I do know that a lot of the Atidim students every year have received undergrad and/or graduate degrees from there.
