Per BW, the anecdotal evidence suggestst that Asia is the next big thing for MBAs. Wow, that would be an interesting job assignment....

I'd believe it. My father travels to China for work a couple times a year, and one thing he keeps stressing is that there is a need for management level employees in China. The Chinese culture just does not create strong organizational leaders organically, and here is a need for western managerial styles in Asia.

If I were smarter, I would have capitalized on my background and completed my MBA years ago, and headed back home myself.

pay still trails the US...my friends heading back to work for major global players are getting paid well by local standards but often less than what they would have made working for the same company in the US.
