Call your GMAT Center before hand - Go prepared.

Hi Guys,
I would like to encourage you to make a call or a visit to the centre where you would be taking your GMAT. I did my 1st attempt a few weeks ago, and when I reached the centre(1/2 hour before time), I was told that my ID's were not valid and that I would have to go back home to get my passport, as that is the only thing that they accept. Which is very weird, because here in Singapore everyone uses the ID card for any identification.
I was very flustered when I reached back(15 minutes late) but I was allowed to take the test. It really did affect my score, but I guess that is part of life. Will just have to work harder and come prepared for the next round; prepared to conquer the GMAT that is.
I am not writing to complain, but I would encourage you to read all the details, and perhaps even make a call to your centre beforehand to clarify anything you do not understand.
Thanks and all the best
