Thanks R.E.D- thats a good point. But currently, I have used the additional info part to include another essay that highlights my EC's and involvement in community as I could not bring it out in another essay.

What is everyone writing in the 'additional info' essay/part? Is it meant to address extenuating circumstances or an 'optional' essay?

I also use the optional essay to write about my community involvement.

Same here. I always try to stay away from the EC's, but with Ross' short essays and unique questions it was hard to really get into detail regarding my biggest accomplishments.

Not so many opportunities to talk about EC in detail in the application form as well - just 1 short line for only 3 activities...

A question from the app:
"have you attended any Ross events or been in contact with a member of the Ross community in the past year?"
And there are like 30 lines to fill... of which I only filled in 3. Is this another place to talk "why Ross" or do you write exactly what you are asked - simply who/where/when?

I kept it short and sweet. The events I attended, the people I interacted with, and their relevance to what we talked about (i.e. admissions, the Maize & Blue Fund, etc).

I have used this space to indicate the event I attended and referenced my friends who are current students. I did not go into specifics of 'What attracted me to Ross' about as the goals essay again asks 'Who or what influenced your decision to apply to Ross'.

Did anyone fill up Page 11 of the Ross Application ? It asks to fill in the names of the recommender but if you go to the Section "Recommendations" on the Left Panel, it lists the recommenders????

Guys,

For the current employer section, did you put down the number of months you are employed as of today or as of the month you are planning to quit to go to b-school?

Please reply ASAP (I am aiming to submit the application tonight)

Thank you!

No, like most schools they do not require a separate app for scholarship.
