Like I said before, I'm gonna spend this summer like winter in Ithaca. CBS forum will be full.
Coakleym- Yes. I am kinda curious about why they did not set the date for "review start". Now I feel like I should submit it in June to keep up with the competition. Prepared for essays in the last month so wrote three essays. Surprisingly, there are only two essays this year. So, I had my app ready two weeks ago. Submitted yesterday. I don't think they will start reviewing it until June. But they do say that for ED and J-term, they start review upon complete submission.

For purposes of roll call, was accepted to CBS in RD (Jan 2010) but have just withdrawn yesterday.

Hi, I am currently wait listed for CBSI would like to talk to someone who has been on the wait list before or currently is. I would like to get some advice if I can do anything (e.g send additional material/updates) given CBS discourages sending any additional material. Will really appreciate the help.

Christina from CBS admissions just posted on BW forums today that "The class is very close to full at this point." So I'm guessing we shouldn't be holding our breath, but one can only hope.

Caveat : The live application shows 2 essays that are the same than the EMBA 2011 applications Although the MBA website also mentions 2 essays for 2011, they are not mentioned by CBS on their website, and no admission consultant has ever posted about these 2011 essays. It would appear that there is a glitch in CBS MBA website pending the release of the official essays questions. It would be very dubious for CBS to give up on the failure and mostly the master class essay questions, after all the marketing they put in to differentiate themselves from the rest with the master class program.

I logged into the CBS application system. The essays are the same whether you indicate MBA or EMBA application, which doesnt make sense.

Looks like I'm going to be doing a marketing internship (different from my current role) for my current company this summer. Should I contact CBS admissions with this update? Does CBS generally take updates? Thanks.

Actually the update was probably a good idea -- I'm guessing it signaled to them that you were still very interested in attending CBS, so they went ahead and made a decision on your app right now instead of stringing you along for another month or so.
