Got an e-mail today from Fin. Aid that I am not sure what to make of...anybody else get one?

Dear [20LVO],

Thank you for your application for 2010-2011 financial aid. We are writing to request additional information required to process your application.

So that we can accurately determine your eligibility for need-based aid, please submit the following as soon as possible. Submitting complete and timely information will help ensure you receive the most aid for which you may be eligible.

* Supplemental Form
Please submit an 2010-2011 Supplemental Form online at http://www.usc.edu/financialaid. To access the online form, click on "My Financial Aid & Documents."

* Citizenship Documentation - Student
You must verify your U.S. citizenship status. Please submit a copy of your U.S. passport, birth certificate, or naturalization certificate. For additional information review the Citizen and Eligible Non-Citizen Verification form, available at http://www.usc.edu/financialaid. In addition, if the Social Security Administration does not have a record of your U.S. citizenship status, you must contact that office and request that your record be updated.

Unless otherwise indicated, please submit all documents to the Financial Aid Office. For fastest processing, we encourage you to submit them online, by electronic upload or by fax. Instructions and fax cover and closing sheets can be found at http://www.usc.edu/financialaid by clicking on "My Financial Aid & Documents."

To ensure you receive the most aid for which you may be eligible, you should meet all published deadlines. Deadlines for the 2010-2011 academic year can be found at http://www.usc.edu/financialaid by clicking on "Applying For & Receiving Financial Aid."

Several financing options exist to help you pay your USC expenses. We encourage you to take advantage of the financial resources USC has to offer and are happy to help answer any questions you may have. Financial aid counselors are available by e-mail, in person or by phone. For more information, please visit http://www.usc.edu/contactfao.
Sincerely,

Financial Aid Office
University of Southern California

Got the same email (minus the citizenship stuff). I actually got that email and filled out the supplemental forms prior to being invited to interview. I do not believe it is tied to admissions but more likely when you submit your fafsa and when your info gets to the financial aid office (but I could be wrong).

That would make sense because I just sent off my FAFSA yesterday.

Just got the call! Phew, at least I have one offer.

I really want UCLA, but I'm still really happy to have the opportunity to go to Marshall. Not feeling very good about hearing from Anderson at the moment.

Applied 1/15, Interviewed by Alumni 3/20, Admitted 3/30

Stats: GMAT 730 / GPA 3.15 (at UCLA lol) / 5 Years WE in Ent Advertising / Print Production

Whoa! I didn't think they'd call anyone ahead of time, but I guess I was wrong. Congratulations...time to get nervous, I guess...

The woman that called me made it sound like they were still finalizing a lot of things. She said the official letter would go out on Thursday most likely. I think there are definitely a lot more people they are planning to call. Good luck!

Just checked online - admitted!

There's a new section when I log in that says the following:
Decision Status: Available beginning 3/30/2010
# Your application decision is now available online

And, when I click, it has the good news! :-D

Good luck to everyone else in round 2!

Congratulations :)

Nothing for me so far...ugh, I wish they didn't do it like this...

I just called them. Hopefully "they won't all go out on the same date, so keep checking" isn't just lip service.

I hear you... last Thursday, when UCLA released part of their R2 decisions, I was on edge the entire day. Literally, refreshing GMATClub / BW Forums every 5 minutes. Hope that it works out for you!

Also got a call from an Admissions Officer right after I posted here. She congratulated me and also let me know that R2 Admit Weekend is scheduled for April 23-25.

I got a call yesterday as well. Just curious, when do we hear about scholarships, fellowships and other financial aid? Will that be sent out with the packet? Did anyone hear about it when they received their call? Congratulations to the admits, and good luck to those still waiting.

Yes, I asked her on the call and she said if they were offering a scholarship it would come in the official mailing either at the end of this week or beginning of next week.

Wanted to clarify regarding the above Admit "Weekend" details. Just called the Admissions Office as I was looking to book a flight out there from NYC. The event begins on Friday, April 23rd (registration starts at 2pm) and runs all day on Saturday. On Sunday, there are no more events.
