vishwa From what I can tell, not well. That goes for most of LA. They are building a light rail line that runs from Culver City past campus, but that won't start until 2011. You'll need a car, or a friend with a car. I'll likely be living in Culver City. Hi all. LA's public transit system is underrated. I've used the metro system for many years when visiting LA and actually like it -- often use it instead of renting a car at LAX so I can read instead of drive, while not contributing to LA's traffic. I'll be doing the same when I start the Marshall EMBA program in August. The new "Silver Line" (rapid bus) directly serves the SC campus, and connects directly to the green line (rail), red line (rail), and union station. Hi, I just signed up today but I've been following this thread for a few months now. I applied in R2 and got wait listed. I sent them additional recommendations and essays but haven't heard back. Anyone waitlisters heard back yet?

I asked them if there was a deadline to letting us know, and they said they were still considering. I travel a lot for work and this not easy... if my passport is submitted for a visa, it makes it a challenge to get back to the US on a moment's notice!

To be fair, I think all schools are like this. I am 98% sure I'll be at Marshall, but I'm still on the WL at UNC and I was told they can't give a deadline because they don't actually know if they'll be offering spots. I asked around and USC is in a similar position. The class is full as of now and they need to experience "melt" before they can offer spots.

It put me in potential position of leaving my job quickly and probably burning bridges I wish I would not have to.

I spoke to Joanne in their office this morning, she is always nice to talk to (even though I'm sure she gets asked the same questions 100's of times. She gave me the standard line about the wait-list being reviewed periodically, etc. Orientation DOES begin on July 26... so I imagine if there is to be any movement on the list it will have to happen between now and then.
