Made the wait list. My MBA admissions journey continues. Can anyone speak to the wait list policies at Booth? Do they typically pull many candidates from the wait list? Would it be wise to finally consult a professional ( Stacy Blackman, etc.) or would that be of little help now?

Waitlisted. International Student living in Boston. Last year I was waitlisted at Wharton 2 times, all the way through summer and then finally rejected. Now I have the pleasure of going through this process again with Booth.

Waitlisted - seems like there are a lot of us out there. I can't stand the thought of waiting another two months to find out, but I guess this is good news. Posted from my mobile device Posted from my mobile device

WL at Booth - guess we have to keep the saga going a bit longer...
Historically, how much does the WL move at Booth? Does anyone have stats?

Dinged. That hurts. Is it completely inappropriate to email the interviewer and ask for some advice? My stats are average 710/3.5 but I thought I had pretty strong essays and a great interview. It would be nice to know if there is something I can improve on or if Booth is just out of my league....

I think that asking your interviewer now would be fair, so go ahead.

I have a friend at Booth now that was a R2 waitlist and was accepted at Booth late in the summer (she had her ticket to Austin already booked). She said that about a 1/3 of her class was waitlisted, although that was probably high and seemed to have been an internal misstep by Booth. She did say that the chances of getting in off the waitlist are fairly descent though.

The same thing happened to me in Rd1, and I am still on the WL at Booth, hopefully will hear good news from Kellogg next week, but hang in there!

This post received KUDOS
Admitted via status change, no call. Any idea how Booth lets admits know about funding? Would it have been included in the status change message?

It's great that no call doesn't = death knell. Thank you for giving people another data point to obsess over next year. LOL! Congrats again.
