I rescheduled a gmat, but the score is the same... And the adcom replied by saying "I'm sorry to hear that you did not improve in your GMAT...", then I know the ding mail should not be far away... And finally, the ding came on Thur...so sad...

I was put on the regular decision waitlist... is there a difference between the two, other than the Feb1 notification date?

Have been deferred as well. I'm surprised about the low level of activity compared to last year on the WL forum... Maybe it's a good sign  Has any waitlisted candidate already been accepted this year?

Looks like user okaymauimike just got in after being deferred ED, so all hope isn't quite lost yet!
Did you all get the email stating that they would be letting us know this week?
The email said to let your waitlist manager know if you were NOT still interested, but did you guys still reply saying that you still WERE interested?

Yes, that email was sent to all deferred ED candidates. Sending them a reply isn't required so its really your call. An affirmative reply would neither increase nor decrease your chances of getting in, IMHO. Good luck!
