Here is the debrief of my Tepper interview on 12/3. It was a self initiated interview:
Walk me through your resume
Why MBA
Why Tepper
What is one red area in your application
What is your greatest strength
Difficult person on a team
Conflict resolution example
Any questions that I had for her
Interview was with a member of Adcom and was very conversational. It lasted for about an hour and I must say that I didn't realize how the time flew by.
I attended a class as well as lunch with students. Overall, after visiting Tepper, I now regret my decision to apply to R2 - should have targeted R1. And Pittsburg is a beautiful city!
Will be working extra hard on essays....

It seems to me that CMU offers a rolling admission. So, are there really benefits to applying early say in Oct versus June?
I'm thinking about applying for R3. Any take on Pros/Cons?

I don't think Tepper has rolling admissions. The admit list comes out on one day. 19th for the 1st round.

the 19th is approaching fast. I wonder how many applicants will get accepted in this Round. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Eagerly waiting for the 19th. Tepper is not my top choice but I will still be elated to get a call. Does anyone know whether they make a telephone call or update in the online application ?

I was reading last year's CMU thread and it sounds like admit emails were sent out a day before. Last year's "mailed by" notification date was Friday 12/21, and gclubber were reporting admits on Thursday the 20th.
Watch those email boxes tomorrow morning!!

so does the adcom call the admitted ones? or is it an email? and what time will that email be sent? i mean is it 9 am or 5?

Good luck to all! I don't think they ever specified 9 AM. Can be any time today I just wish I hadn't read that post about Tepper releasing results 1 day early last year! That pretty much spoilt yesterday
