Just got USC interview invite today, was sure I was dinged based off of their previous email saying they would know by mid-February.

Still hope everyone!

Ditto on USC. Short notice for a short window. They do all interviews from feb 19 to 28 and prefer on campus? I'll have to do the Skype option regardless.

R2 applicant - Finally heard from Goizueta today with a strange email stating that I was missing info in my application. When I logged in it said that I needed to complete an interview, which I actually already did before I applied.

Got an e-mail from Goizueta a few minutes ago to let me know they've received my application. I was instructed to obtain my NetworkID for OPUS, but when I tried to request it, it said that my Social Security wasn't on file.

Same issue for anyone else? The e-mail said it may take up to 2 business day after "application submittion" so I guess I'll just wait it out till Monday...

Same thing happened to me when I tried to use my social, so I just selected the option that I didn't have a social security number and it asked for my email address instead. I was then able to log in.

I was having the same problem logging in with my social security number so I tried using my email and it worked.

Congrats kawasaki! Were you R1 or R2 Consortium? Did the call come through this afternoon?

Did anyone just get an email from Mccombs today about the Consortium application being imported into the McCombs and University of Texas systems over the coming week? So they have not even looked at my application yet? Or is this a precursor to a ding?

I received the McCombs email as well. Sighs. I was stressed all week for nothing. March 8 is the new decision date. At least this gives me time to receive my R2 interview invite. It seems most interviewed and accepted folks are R1. I guess they haven't gotten to the rest of us yet. Although, I'm sure there are a few exceptions to the rules.

Irony: my other school choice, UNC, also sent an email at 4:30 am saying my application was now complete and being reviewed. Random. Their decision date is March 18. Of course my top two schools would have the latest waiting time ever. Perhaps the Consortium draft will speed things up.

BTW: My first post on this thread. Decided that posting wouldn't jinx me.

I got that email as well. I don't think its a precursor to a ding I just think it means that they are lumping R2 candidates with Austin R3 candidates.

Any other Stern applicants via the Consortium going to Diversity Weekend?

Also, I had my interview at Yale on Thursday. Things went pretty well but 30 minutes goes by really quickly. Only suggestions I have for those that haven't had their interview yet is to make sure you have the answer to your leadership example straight. Because of nervousness I stumbled a little bit but I got it together.

Good luck to all!

I got the same Texas McCombs email as well yesterday, I hope it's not a precursor to a ding! They did say that next steps would be mid-February, so the optimistic side of me hopes this just means they haven't looked at them yet.

I'll be there. There should be a ton of consortium folks attending.

Do you know when we hear back from Yale? All I've heard is "end of this month"

I am an in-state applicant to Kenan-Flagler who applied via the Consortium. I recently received admission with a full-tuition fellowship. I assume this is not Consortium-based, since it didn't mention anything about the Consortium in the letter. What effect does this have on my chances for a Consortium fellowship from other schools, and from UNC (since the Consortium fellowship likely goes hand-in-hand with membership to the Consortium and its famous networking opportunities...making a Consortium fellowship preferable to a UNC fellowship). UNC was my highest-ranked Consortium school.

I also received a McCombs admit, and am much more interested in attending McCombs (though this is highly dependent on receiving a Consortium fellowship to it). Is there anything I can do at this point to improve my odds at McCombs (based on the news from UNC)? I ranked McCombs below UNC on the Consortium application.
