aceman, weren't you told in the interview about the day you should expect to hear from them? I had my interview on Monday, and was told that the result should come out on Friday. I think Friday is "the day" for R2.
Strange that R2 Cornell is so quiet here.
Only until tonight I have time to browse previous posts in this thread. This day R1, this thread was crowded with so many interesting people. Some got in, some got dinged. But they all made the conversation. They are excellent contributors.
I read that the result might come out later in the afternoon, but I have been sticking with the computer since 9am, refreshing my Application Status every now and then, although it IS non-sense. Funny enough, the Status has just been changed from "Interview Scheduled" to "Application Complete". That is funny. I imagine there is someone on the other side of the globe has just been edited my application status while he's waiting for final instruction from the Admissions Committee meeting room. Just something to chew the rag...
My head is busy with "what if... what if...".

Sigh... I know it's gonna be late. It's 2am here. 2pm there. News should come either at COB Friday or Monday. Hummmmm... The first thing I'll to tomorrow morning is to check email and App Status!  See if magic comes. Then Sunday is my Birthday! G'night folks!

Hopefully Cornell works out the bugs that made for a horror show during R1 decisions.

My head is busy with "what if... what if...". dunno man, i interviewed like over two weeks ago R2...they never told me when to expect it. weird thing for me is my status JUST changed from "call/hold for interview" to "interview scheduled"???? I had it long time ago!!...we're about 3 weeks past the "official" R2 notification of Jan 11...and still no news.....jesus ding me already and put me out of my misery....

I was accepted in R2 and could not write a detailed response as did not have Internet access for a while.
Well, I am in the accelerated MBA program of Cornell with $0 scholarship (I am in the waitlist for scholarship) I am planning on depositing $1,500 to be enrolled in the program but also keeping my fingers crossed for some scholarship.
Anyhow, details about me: 28 years old male, telecom engineer with 4 years of experience
Master's degree in Telecom (made the application for the Accelerated MBA possible)
GMAT: 700
Some extra curricular activities
Got dinged from Kellogg.
I believe that the strong points of my application was the coherence between my recommendations and essays. (one of my recommender sent me a copy of the recommendation and it was very much in line with my essays). I went over the essays with one of my co workers. That helped me to meet the specific length.
Interview went well (thanks to all who posted their interview experiences). The only interesting question was: If you were to tell only three adjectives about yourself to the admission committee, what would they be?
Even though, the school has not started yet, 2 current Accelerated MBA students already contacted me and offered me help from finding student clubs to meeting with possible recruiters.
Well, we'll see what the future will bring.
