Calling all Cornell (Johnson) Fall 2010 applicants!

I really doubt they'll be able to release all decisions on Tuesday.

They seem to have been super-busy the last few days/weeks. There are obviously the upcoming deadlines, but they also have to go through the Park Fellows candidates/waitlist for the last Fellows event, and I'm not sure how involved the adcom is in Destination Johnson (pre-orientation orientation, essentially), but both those are coming up I think around April 9th or so.

But for sure, keep trying, I've reached them a little later than I expected sometimes too, (up to around 6pm EST), so just keep at it. Obviously email works too, but at this stage, I'd imagine calling every hour or 2 wouldn't be looked down on, as it's getting pretty late. Just don't leave 20 messages and you should be golden. Caller ID ftl, but ah well, can just say you're excited, were I adcom I'd accept that:D

Wouldn't sweat the time they change status on your page, I think different people update the page from those that actually read your app, so communication/execution times can lead to random additional time. And judging from the late interviews some on these forums have been given, it seems like the adcom will do everything they can to kick up the pace until decision-day. I'd imagine choices also are easier a bit as at this stage, I'd imagine the class shape is forming, so decisions can be a bit quicker. (Probability-wise, it changes nothing, as there's no way to know how many ibankers/consultants/ventriloquists/etc. have already been accepted, so although in theory class shape can change chances, the unknown of "class mix" as well as the "desired class mix" means probabilities are still relatively the same as before.)

PS. Please excuse my usage of "means" in proximity with "probabilities"'; puns are tough to resist.

Could be way wrong, so it may be best to head to the Cornell website and check the dates, but I think the last Parks event is around the same time as DJ, so April 9th-ish. So the idea is that they'll invite the people from R3, as well as waitlist people from R1/2 that they have space for. My prev. post may have been misleading as there are 2 waitlists. The first (and in this case, the one I'm referring to) being those that were waitlisted for a Parks event, and the second being the waitlist for those who attended an event already.

Basic gist: if you were waitlisted for a Parks event before, they may or may not invite now; if you went to an event already and were waitlisted, basically sounds like the job is to sit tight and wait.

Does anyone know if Cornell waitlists without interviewing?

I've lurked on this forum a bit but making my first post here.

I was a round 2 Consortium applicant to Johnson, was accepted and invited to campus as a park finalist. Did not receive park fellowship, consortium fellowship or any other money.

What time are decisions published on Cornell application website?

Do they make phone calls before publishing decisions?

On my R3 app, I see this message.

"Your application is complete for final review by the selection committee. We will post your final decision or send an update by 9 a.m. Eastern time on the published notification date for your round."

Anybody else seeing the message ?

Yes, you are right. I have the same message on my app. And I was checking last year forum and they do call. Let's see if someone here reports a call today.

Not seeing this either. My app turned to under review in mid of March, materials(rec, scores ... etc) to complete several days ago. No inv so far. I guess the processing is going truly late.

Just got an interview invite, on-campus only.
