From Clearadmit blog..
Cornell / Johnson Essay Topics 2009-2010
"Though Johnson has not yet released its 2009-2010 application or its application deadlines, the school’s admissions office has indicated that the essay topics will remain the same as last year’s set"
Lets get the essays rolling..

believe I will be applying to johnson for 2012, probably round 1. someone should post the interview questions, just for the same of completeness.
edit: here they are
1. Describe your greatest professional achievement and how you were able to add value to your organization. [400 words]
2. What career do you plan to pursue upon completing the MBA and why? How will the Johnson School help you achieve this goal? [400 words]
3. You are the author for the book of Your Life Story. Please write the Table of Contents for the book. [400 words]

Does anyone know when we'll be able to create an account to get crackin' on our applications for 2010?

I'm a 2009 waitlisted candidate and would be applying in R1 most probably. I'm still struggling with what new to write in my essays assuming that they are going to remain the same (as per clearadmit)
Thanks, Ubuntu

sentiment wrote: 700 average GMAT 710 median GMAT 3.31 average GPA 3.40 median GPA average age is 27 with five years work experience I've only seen NYU and Cornell's latest stats, but it seems to me like these are some pretty dramatic jumps. I'm curious as to whether this increased competitiveness is an aberration or here to stay.

Thought this thread would be a lil more active today. The app went live, it's officially on! Reading some threads from last year it seemed as though some people were complainin about Cornell's online app. I've only seen 2 other schools thusfar, but I must say that I am impressed with Johnson's application intro page. There's a bunch of interesting and useful videos and links to take a look at...

wow..it's on. First deadline is Oct 6. Such a quick turnaround. Ugh.. this application requires scanned pictures to be inserted to word doc first before it can be uploaded.

Hi current applicants + students! Hope all is well.. Any advice on how to approach the "table of contents" essay? Do you simply write 40 - 50 one liners??

That's pretty much the idea, give a brief explanation per topic might also work. This is meant to be a creative piece, so have fun doing it.

You might want to check out last year's thread. I remember there being a fair bit of discussion on this. But I hear you, I know this topic will be a struggle for me too.
