Only one interview invite for round 2 so far? I guess they will resume their invitations after all Round 1 GMATClubbers get their acceptance emails/calls 8-)

Am down in Charlottesville for an unrelated conference and can confirm that (1) the weather is indeed s*** (snow, rain, ice) for the last two days and (2) an email did go out asking for volunteers to make calls tomorrow (had dinner tonight with a second year who said such).

Good luck to everyone. Charlottesville is an AWESOME place.

As a correction, the email that went out yesterday was asking for volunteers on Thrusday, February 5th, not today. Darden's intention is to have follow up calls from current students to answer admits questions and to sell the school. Currents students (other than those who work in the admissions office???) will not be calling R1 admits tonight. Hopefully there will be calls, though!

I just got a call from an unknown number...turns out my car warranty is about to expire. Ugh. Then my boss had the audacity to call and talk about work. I had a good mind to give him the tongue lashing of a lifetime, but lucky for him I want to keep my karma in balance today.

I think we should start a thread - "How many people received a call from an unknown # thinking its an adcom, and then it turned out something completely different...."

I will bet it will get at least 20 responses....

Does anybody know whats the deal with interview invites???? I figured they would stop during this Round 1 notification process.....but somebody on BW reported geting one today. So that means only a couple have gotten them so far. I wonder why its so slow.....
