Does anybody have any historical information on WL converts? I know last year was rough for WL'ed candidates because Duke's yield jumped.

I am an international living in Mexico City and I just received the admission packet. It includes:
1. The official admission letter (which we already saw over the Internet)
2. A confirmation card (to fill if you are to enroll)
3. A BDW magnet
4. A Fuqua sticker
5. A Visa application form (only for internationals)
6. A USB with the videos that are on the incoming student website, and a PDF with lots of information about Duke and Durham, including next steps, deadlines and tips.

I find it surprising that there's not a shred of third round related info floating around the internet though..I did not think that last round applicants are really that rare...

also in NYC... received my packet yesterday. I was wondering if anyone here has had success asking Duke for additional funds. I was accepted to another scoool with a full scholarship and am interested in hearing if anybody is in the same situation and plans to present their situation to Duke to see if they would be willing to provide some $$$

They will most likey send out ALL invites on the 24th. Thats how it worked in R2 at least, all invites went out on the last day.
