Thanks, threestripes. Appreciate your input. My question on Round 1 "Not invited" guys receiving an interview invite for Round 2 still stands. Would be nice to connect with someone else on the same boat.

rgupta, thanks for your advice. Congrats on the admit. Unfortunately, at this moment, I won't be able to fly to the States. I just hope I get to interview with an alum in India. I checked the FAQ on the website and the answer to "I was waitlisted for interview. What should I do?" goes something like this:
"You will receive an e-mailed invitation to participate in the next round of interviews in the location you pre-selected on your application. No action is needed on your part until you receive the e-mail. The admissions committee will review your completed interview evaluation as a part of your total application and will provide an updated decision on your application after the next admissions deadline. Please refer to our Web site for details on the interview invitation and decision release timeline."
So I'm not sure if I should be sending an update. Either way, I really don't have much to share as an update. I accepted the waitlist decision yesterday. Off-campus interviews for Round 2 are set to be held on 17-18 and 24-25 Feb. By when do you think I should email the admissions office if I dn't hear back from them on the schedule? Also, anyone else from Round 1 who was denied then but has been invited to interview now?
One chance makes sense, I say if you do not here bythe 17th I would get in touch with the school knowing you can only interview the following week based on the schedule. Else there is probably no real need. Good Luck Again!

Fuqua just called and advised me they're throwing in 70K towards tuition! They're making this decision really difficult!
Congrats to everyone that received scholarship money. I'm surprised they are contacting accepted applicants so quickly on this. In the acceptance e-mail it states "recipients of merit award will hear from scholarship committee approximately two weeks from the date of this letter".
I hope the calls keep coming. Getting any money whatsoever will really help me make my decision.

Just to add to that I just received a call from a Durham area code to my cell. It was my interviewer calling me to congratulate me and telling me about upcoming events and key dates. Although it was very nice to speak with him, the call had nothing to do with scholarship information.
In light of the superbowl coming I just want go let out a "Commmeee onnn, maaaan!"

I got a call about scholarship money the morning after the decisions came out. They offered me 15% which, while not too much in the scheme of things, will definitely help me make a decision.

Thanks guys. I'm happy to see some of us getting money, but I'm also happy to see a good number of admits. This is very tempting so far, but I can't pull the trigger just yet, even if it is my first choice. I have to weigh all my options.

Rgupta, thanks again, for your suggestion and your wishes. So are you enrolling at Duke?

Still waiting until I hear back from all the schools. Want to see if any school is willing to throw some money my way and make sure I look at all my options before I commit
