Hi everyone, Emory gives out no co-signer loans to international students and its my trans-elite option. I may have to travel to Atlanta on work later this month so I will definitely stop by the campus to visit.
Not many posts here as of now. Does this mean lesser competition this year? I will be applying to Emory for 2010 fall intake. All the best to everyone alongside....

Last week I was accepted to Goizueta's 2 year program starting Fall 2010. Stumbled on this site while googling some things. Figured I would stop by and help.
I interviewed October 29 - right before their round 1 deadline. Great thing about Emory is that it is a blind interview so they go off your resume when you show up. Standard questions about your resume and why you want your MBA. They made me feel comfortable and it was more a conversation about myself.
The odd questions were give 3 words my coworkers would use to describe me, 3 words my friends would use, and 3 words my family would use. They also asked a general question - What are you passionate about most in life? I used this opportunity to talk about my family and community activities as well as my hobbies.
Nothing tricky here and I really enjoyed the experience.

You can add me to the list of applicants too. I had my interview a while back in NYC, but the status of my application just recently changed to complete.
As for the interview questions, nothing seemed out of the ordinary:
Tell me about yourself, the job(s) that you had, why you're getting your mba, most substantial accomplishment, what do you plan to do while at Emory, etc. It lasted about about a half hour.
AdamDunn44 - congrats..... n getting the admit.... i was interviewed on the 3rd of Nov..... still waiting for the results.... should i take it as a ding????
Also lemme know how were you informed of the admit..... through mail or phone..... also any news on scholarship????

It can take 2 weeks to 4 weeks so don't worry. I was called by the person I did the interview with and also received an email. I got a scholarship for $18,000 a year.
