Congrats guys! Got the email around 7:30 AM (IST).

Edit: My interviewer emailed me. Yet to receive the official email from the school. Fingers crossed for everyone here!

So, is this the common practice - interviewers mailing to students? Or official mails for Indian candidates is yet to be circulated? Anyone else from India receive such news?

Edit: Congratulation btw !! Missed the main thing in all the excitement :D

Got through . YAY. Checked in my application portal but it doesn't say anything about scholarships. Does that mean I have not received any or they tell that information through email?

The application portal was updated around 7:45am (Eastern) and I got an email saying I was accepted and that I received a scholarship about an hour later.

Waitlisted for 1 year, though I suspect it's because the start date (Summer '18) is so far away that they are not currently considering applicants.

Thanks! Looks like its not the norm, but grateful for receiving the news early! Got the official acceptance and scholarship emails at around 7 PM IST.
